Dr. Teresa Serrano is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with extensive experience providing mental health services to children, individuals, and families across diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. She is specially trained in conducting immigration psychological evaluations, with a focus on Hardship Waiver cases.
With a clinical background rooted in trauma-informed care, Dr. Serrano offers comprehensive psychological assessments that document the emotional, psychological, and relational impact of immigration-related stressors. Dr. Serrano holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a concentration in Social Work, a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, and a Doctorate in Social Work. She has over a decade of experience in outpatient, in-home, and school-based settings. Her specialties include trauma, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, crisis intervention, and family dynamics, areas that are often central to immigration cases.
