Mary Carrillo has always sought to comprehend emotions, conduct, and the human psyche, perpetually motivated to address concerns that begin with "why." Mary advocates for individual's empowerment via the provision of appropriate tools and information, enabling them to comprehend their "Why." It is a pleasure to her to dedicate time to assist someone in navigating their circumstances and managing daily tensions or conflicts they encounter. She advocates for working together to provide the most effective therapy practical. Mary has experienced working with all life spans ranging from 12 to 65 years of age. She is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Her therapeutic approach is mostly Cognitive Behavioral; however, she incorporates other interventions tailored to people with complex symptoms. She is a multilingual practitioner, proficient in both English and Spanish. Her specialty is in assisting people with life changes, as well as those experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, and loss. She has extensive expertise in dealing with veterans who have complex traumas.
